Terms of Use
Syllmate · last updated 20 October 2026
1. The service
Syllmate is a personal study-material index. It reads material your Google account already gives you access to and presents it in one searchable list. It is a study aid, not a teaching service, and it does not provide academic advice, tutoring or assessment.
2. Your account
You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your Google account secure. You must be at least 13 years old, and at least 18 to enter into a paid plan.
3. Your material stays yours
We never redistribute your material and we never make it visible to another student. Some material in your library is your teacher's copyrighted course content. You may use it for your own study; you may not republish or redistribute it through Syllmate, and using Syllmate does not grant you any additional rights over it.
4. Acceptable use
Do not use Syllmate to break the law, to infringe anyone's rights, to interfere with the service, to access another person's data, or to attempt to re-grant permissions you have revoked. We may suspend accounts that do.
5. Availability
The service is provided as-is, without warranty. We depend on Google APIs, and Google may change or restrict access at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and we may change or discontinue features. Where the law permits, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost coursework or missed deadlines.
6. Ending it
You can disconnect Google or delete your account at any time, and we will revoke access and delete your data. We may suspend an account that breaches these terms. Sections 3 and 7 survive termination.
7. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or ₹500. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use Syllmate after that means you accept the updated terms.
